This film was made exclusively for an MTV competition and featured a song from the hit band Radiohead. The film looked at the rarely talked out problem of self-harming in young adults.

This film was originally released and shown at various venues in 2003, however Burn Hand Film Productions have withdrawn it, and brought it back to their newly updated studios to give it a re-cut, and update the musical score. The film will now be expected for re-release in the winter.

Short Synopsis

Getting High With Leo charts the life of drug-abuser Jake Munroe in his first term at university. As he tries to make new friends he keeps building a house of cards around him by telling lies and hiding his habits from everyone. Unfortunately this doesn’t last for ever, and soon everything is tumbling down and Jake finds himself in a complete state; he’s not only lost his friends, but also his girlfriend. He tries to make amends by sorting himself out, but once you’ve made a bad impression things can only go from bad to worse…
